Highly (highly) recommend!

Jordi made this an incredible experience for us. He answered our questions with candor and pointed out cool aspects of the history and culture of Montserrat while taking in the nature (pointing out rosemary and thyme along the way - giving us options to see Mediterranean forest, etc). It’s definitely a hike! I am a bit out of shape but managed and am so happy we went. We saw the Montessori, beautiful hiking views (it’s indescribable), made friends, had snacks and then visited the farmers market & sampled liquors after. Highly (highly) recommend!

The best way to visit Montserrat!

This is the perfect way to visit Montserrat. Ramon is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the monastery and the area, its peculiar geology and the plants and animals. Most important, he knows how to avoid the crowds of tourists. That made it a really special tour. And he makes a damn good bocadillo for lunch!

The hike was amazing!

Ramon was an unbelievable host for the hike and not only did he share us the history, the stories and the details about Montserrat, but gave us tips for the remainder of our Spain trip. We can feel that he was experienced but also passionnate about the areas. The hike was amazing and allowed us to see stunning views of the monastery and the mountain. Thanks to that, we were able to capture magnificient pictures!

Excellent day hiking trip in North Catalonia!

Why pay the same price for big tour companies when you can have Ramon's personalised service? He knows his routes well and was very flexible to cater for my active young family. Book his Costa Brava + Tossa de Mar tour as well if you enjoy day hikes. My family had a magical time with Ramon. La Garrotxa is special if you get the morning fog!

Our favorite experience while visiting Barcelona. Ramon was an amazing & knowledgeable guide who kept everyone engaged & entertained. The hike around Montserrat and within the monastery was was absolutely beautiful and Ramon provided context about the history, scenery, geology, you name it. Incredible day hike and tour!

I went on the La Garrotxa Volcanic hike and Besalú town visit with Ramon. He is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. It was a small, and personalised tour, and I learned a ton about the region (history, geography, geology, ecology). I would absolutely do another tour with him and Catalan Trails!

Better than advertised!

We did the Montserrat Hking Tour with Ramon. Because it was only my wife and me, it was essentially a private tour. We had almost no wait to see the Black Madonna and time to hike trails that where consistent with our interest and ability. Ramon shared his expertise not only about Montserrat, but about anything we asked him!
